Jennifer has been practicing massage for 22 years. She received her Bachelor in Science at the University of Portland in 1993, then went on to obtained her license in massage therapy from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Or  in 1995.

In 2008 she opened Vital Health and Wellness with her business partner, Dr. Swift, fulfilling her dream to own and operate a multidisciplinary clinic that offered quality holistic care to the community. She sold her practice in 2014 after her move to Bend.

Jennifer practices deep tissue/Swedish massage and focuses on injuries and chronic pain. She specializes in muscle and fascial repair due to chronic use or trauma. She is experienced in treating neck/shoulder and low back pain, TMJ, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, shin splints and myofascial dysfunction.

Having experienced all the activity that dwells within the city, as well as the mountains, she understands how recreational and occupational living can challenge muscular endurance and health. She regularly witnesses how therapeutic massage reduces physical discomfort and pain, as well as helps enhance athletic performance. Jennifer treats chronic pain, due to muscular adhesions and tension, and has experienced profound results within her clients healing and wellbeing.

Jennifer has spent 18 years of her practice working along with providers in chiropractic, acupuncture, and naturopathy. She is well educated in understanding which other modalities can help her clients conditions, and will refer her clients to seek additional treatments if necessary.

In 2016 Jennifer was trained and licensed in esthetics. Her growing interest in caring for your skin lead her expand her expertise and services. Combining skin care with massage provides a therapeutic experience on multiple levels. She is able to provide two very beneficial services in one appointment.

Jennifer moved to Bend with her husband and two children in 2013. She and her family enjoy outdoor recreation such as skiing, boating, fishing and camping. They are a family of musicians and regularly enjoy playing and performing. She met her husband through music and they have both enjoyed being in many bands. They now live vicariously through their children and have watched them grow into skilled musicians and singers. Each are now in a band of their own.

Jennifer feels blessed and grateful to have found a career that is fulfilling and meaningful to both her and her clients. And she looks forward to the opportunity to assist her clients with expertise and care.
